Open a new chapter in cooperation
On September 12, DSIC Industry Co., Ltd.(DSIC) of China State Shipbuilding Corporation Limited, together with Jiangsu Yoke Technology Co., Ltd., held the signing ceremony for the cargo maitenance system construction project of 10 175,000m3 LNG carriers, opening a new chapter of strategic partnership between the two sides.
The cooperation is a further practice of the strategic cooperation between DSIC and Jiangsu Yoke Technology, and an extension and development of the Framework Agreement on Joint Construction of Cargo Containment Cystem for Large LNG Carriers signed by both parties. Under the unified management of DSIC, the two parties will cooperate in construction, production management, safety management, quality management, logistics management and other aspects to jointly complete the cargo maitenance system construction task for 10 175,000 cubic meters LNG carriers of DSIC.
Up to now, DSIC has 13 LNG carrier orders in hand. As the global LNG market continues to be hot, many large domestic shipbuilding enterprises have joined the construction of large LNG carriers, and the matching degree between the number of professional construction personnel and the actual construction demand will become an important factor affecting the construction of large LNG carriers. As one of the strongest GTT Mark III LNGC subcontractors with professional construction qualification in China, Jiangsu Yoke Technology, with its outstanding performance and rich experience in the field of LNG carrier cargo maitenance system construction, has signed a contract for this construction project. The signing of this construction project deepens the strategic cooperation between DSIC and Jiangsu Yoke Technology, and locks up the key resources for the construction of LNG carriers in advance for DSIC.
In the future, based on the principle of "complementary advantages, mutual benefit, common development and win-win cooperation", the two sides will strengthen the cooperation in the field of LNG carrier construction based on the strategic cooperative relationship, so as to lay a solid foundation for the transformation and upgrading of DSIC into a high-technology and high-value-added product. |
