In order to deeply promote the strategic transformation of Dalian Shipbuilding of China Shipbuilding to high technology and high value-added products, and to further strengthen the construction capacity of LNG carriers, Dalian Shipbuilding has recently realized several nodes of the LNG carrier infrastructure renovation project, and the civil renovation works of LNG supporting three-dimensional warehouse, cryogenic tube processing workshop and LNG comprehensive training center have been successfully completed, and the infrastructure work of cryogenic tube module assembly workshop has been completed as a whole.
LNG supporting three-dimensional warehouse
LNG supporting three-dimensional warehouse utilizes one span on the east side of the existing comprehensive workshop for transformation, consisting of three-dimensional warehouse and processing modification area. The axial dimension of the workshop is 120m×30m, and the renovated building area is about 3780 square meters. The three-dimensional warehouse construction total 1664 box space, mainly bear LNG ship insulation boards, corrugated boards and other cargo enclosure system construction material storage tasks, to ensure the collection and distribution, storage and convenient construction.
Cryogenic pipe processing workshop
The Cryogeni pipe processing workshop utilizes one span on the south side of the existing Tuchengzi pipe processing center to renovate the workshop floor, partition walls, heating, power gas, and distribution facilities. The workshop axis size is 150m × 24m, with a renovated building area of approximately 3651 square meters. The low-temperature pipe processing workshop is responsible for the task of low-temperature pipe processing, and has added 11 sets of process equipment such as stainless steel pipe automation production line, stainless steel pipe fixed length cutting groove system, and pipe assembly machine.
LNG Integrated Training Center
The LNG Comprehensive Training Center is transformed by the existing 312 warehouses and consists of adhesion training area, welding training area, metallographic test area, low temperature test area, training classrooms, etc. The workshop axis size is 72m×21m, and the renovated construction area is about 1557 square meters, mainly responsible for the process assessment of the LNG cargo enclosure system, personnel training/certification, equipment debugging and inspection.
Cryogenic pipe module assembly workshop
Cryogenic pipe tube module assembly workshop utilizes one span on the south side of the existing 212 warehouse of the factory to renovate the workshop flooring, enclosure system, electrical and lighting, and power gas supply system, with the axial dimension of the workshop being 120m×30m, and the renovated floor area being about 3,681m2, which is mainly responsible for the tasks of assembling the cryogenic tube module and the construction of the insulating layer, etc. The overall construction is completed after a construction cycle of 122 days.
As one of the key projects of the development and industrialization of large LNG carriers, the overall project design is complicated, the project interface is numerous, and the transformation period is short, and the construction is extremely difficult. Since the establishment of the project, all departments, in accordance with the overall requirements of "grasping quality, promoting construction period, controlling cost and ensuring safety", attach great importance to, carefully plan and actively organize, carefully formulate project plans, take strong control measures to ensure that the responsibility is implemented in place, and go all out to ensure the smooth progress of the transformation project. With the joint efforts of all departments, the cryogenic pipe module assembly workshop completed the overall infrastructure 3 months ahead of schedule, the LNG supporting stereoscope warehouse completed the civil construction 2 months ahead of schedule, the cryogenic pipe processing workshop completed the civil construction 1 month ahead of schedule, and the LNG comprehensive training center completed the civil construction on schedule.
The renovation project is an important node of the infrastructure work of the special facilities for LNG carriers, and the foundation for the smooth installation and commissioning of the special facilities and equipment for LNG carriers. Its smooth completion has laid a solid foundation for the strategic transformation of Dalian Shipbuilding to high-tech and high value-added products.
